2007 is promising to be an exciting year for Novak & Haar. Jon and Mark will be heading into the studio to record and album of New Standards. You will recognize all of the tunes, but Jon and Mark will put their personal touch on the tunes. Joining them for this project will be one of the Midwest's premier drummers, Carlos Figueroa.

Following the release of "Old Friends" in November 2005, radio promoter Kate Smith helped "Old Friends" appear on the Chartbound chart of Jazz Week for eight weeks during January, February, and March of 2006. So far, "Old Friends" has been heard in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Novak & Haar is very pleased to be represented by Paul Collins Artist Management. This collaboration will bring performance possibilities for Novak & Haar that will span the stages of the globe.
